FAQ
The questions every buyer asks
Do I need a subscription to use Hoonify?
No. Pay-as-you-go is always available — sign up, get $50 in credits, top up when you run low. The per-token and per-GPU rates are identical whether or not you subscribe. Plans bundle credits, raise rate limits, and add support and SLAs, but they're optional.
How is this different from the rate sheet?
Rates are per-unit prices for tokens and GPUs — they apply to every account. Plans are subscriptions on top: they bundle monthly credits, rate-limit tiers, support response times, and compliance features. You can run on the rate sheet alone (Pay-as-you-go) or subscribe to a plan when you need higher throughput, support, or SLAs.
Do plan credits roll over?
Builder and Scale credits expire at the end of each billing period — they're a usage allowance, not a balance. Top-up credits you buy outside the plan never expire.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the new rate against the days remaining. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so we don't refund credits already issued. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time.
What counts toward the rate-per-minute limit?
Inference requests against the OpenAI-compatible API. Workbench requests count too, but admin actions (creating keys, managing users) don't. We surface live RPM in the dashboard so you can size up before you hit a limit.
Is there a free trial of Builder or Scale?
Pay-as-you-go is the always-free starting point — not a trial, no expiry. For Builder and Scale we offer a 14-day money-back window: if you're not getting value, we refund the subscription line in full (usage stays billed at the rate sheet).
How do annual commits work for Enterprise?
Annual commits are pre-paid platform spend with a discount tied to the size of the commit. They draw down against your usage at the rate sheet, with reserved-capacity premium pricing available for guaranteed throughput. We sign these as standard MSA/SOW and they book as ARR on day one.
